Hemp Inc (OTCMKTS:HEMP) stated that it now has efficient Guard Lite Security Lighting fixture in its North Carolina decortication facility. Liberated Energy, Inc. have developed and installed the new lightning systems. It is a firm located in New Jersey and is functional in the segment of lightning and security system.

Hemp Inc disclosed that the new system can be called as a self-powered lighting and security fixture. The company’s IHMMCC unit entered into a strategic association with Liberated Energy to get the new system. The company is dedicated to transform the plant into one of the most advanced plants. It is evident in the new system that not only has LED lights but also comes with Wi-Fi based HD camera. Moreover, the camera also features 2-way audio and infrared and motion technology.
Power saving
Apart from the innovative features, Hemp Inc will benefit on the aspect of power saving with the new system. It uses power of .60 KWh in a day and generates power of 4.5 KWh. The company aims to use the additional power to run other devices. It in fact is looking to sell the power to Duke Energy. For the purpose, David Schmitt who is the COO of Hemp IHMMCC will visit North Carolina’s Duke Energy.
The discussion
The two parties will have elaborated talks on surplus power. The Chief Executive of Hemp said that the company’s focus is on clean, sustainable and renewable energy. The Lightning system is the first step in the same direction. The HD camera that comes in-built within the system can be accessed from any location using a computer or Smartphone. The future plan includes acquiring two additional systems in order to get complete visual protection.
In last trading session, the stock price of Hemp declined more than 4% to close the trading session at $0.0200 on share volume of 4.84 million.
