Rising India Inc (OTCMKTS:RSII) reported that its subsidiary unit TomCat Films has completed deals on 27 film distribution authorizations at the American Film Market with South Korea being the major purchasing territory of the market. The subsidiary firm has finalized an agreement with Mania 22.

The South Korean purchaser has finalized to distribute 20 movies from the TomCat catalog, including “2021”, “All In Time”, “3 Tails: A Mermaid Adventure”, “Forced Move”, “Appleton” and more. “Genesis: Fall of the Crime Empire” was chosen by Radice, Inc. for All Rights. As many as 6 titles went to Jaye Entertainment Co., Ltd. However, for South Korean rights, comprising “Dutch Kills” with Peta Wilson, “All I Need” featuring Caitlin Stasey, “Lazarus Rising” starring C. Thomas Howell and Eric Roberts, “Most Dangerous Game”, “Watch Me Die” and “Paramedics”.
Mermaid family movie, “3Tails: A Mermaid Adventure” was chosen for Video rights by Lighthouse Home Entertainment. U.S. VOD and DVD rights of 3-D horror movie, “American Mummy”, were bought by Wild Eye Releasing. FirstBrave bought rights of two love stories, “All In Time” and “Love Meet Hope”.
Ted Chalmers, the COO of Rising India, said that they are extremely delighted with the deals and they are expecting further data from the AFM to post to shareholders in the coming weeks and days, alongside news on potential revenue streams and new acquisitions. TomCat will be attending the EFM in February.
In unrelated news, Rising India reported that it has closed the acquisition of TomCat Films and concern firm Summer Hill Films. TomCat is a vertically combined film sale, distribution and licensing firm helmed by industry professional, Ted Chalmers. The firm has its headquarters in Phoenix with affiliate locations in Beverly Hills, New York City and Selangor. TomCat focusses on the licensing and sub-distribution of movie and TV product to broadcasters, industry participants, buyers and distributors.
