Joseph Herrod, who leads the hospital segment for Rennova, reported that they continue to consider they are on plan to reopen this hospital in 2Q2017, and look forward to the running of a required service to the community. Where possible, they will recruit staff from the local community and preliminary applications suggest that many former employees are looking forward for employment with the firm. The hospital will recruit almost 130 individuals in full operation.
Big South Fork Medical Center is stated as a Critical Access Hospital, with 25 beds, operating rooms, a laboratory and a 24/7 emergency department that offers a wide range of ancillary diagnostic offerings. The facility comprises a 52,000-square feet hospital building and also a 6,300 square feet professional building on almost 4.3 acres.
For now, the hospital enjoys many in-network deals with payers that the firm considers will ensure reliable and predictable payment for services. The hospital recorded unaudited yearly revenues of about $12 million, and a normalized EBITDA of almost $1.3 million for FY2015, the last fiscal of the hospital’s operation.

They have now increased the count of states within which they hold Medicaid approvals to 30, and the count of payer deals it holds, both national and state, to 24.
