Terra Tech Corp (OTCMKTS:TRTC) reported that its subsidiary firm, Edible Garden, will take part in the NY Produce Show and Conference to be held on December 7, 2016. Edible Garden will present its organic SUPERLEAF™ product and organic herbs at the industry trade show of more than 400 firms that comprises wholesalers, foodservice distributors, local retailers, unique eateries and urban farms.

It is the only show in New York City, which also is the second largest produce trade conference in North America. The participants’ make-up for this conference is over 40% buyers with more than 5,000 produce executives from across the world meeting the 400 exhibitors.

Edible Garden will set an exhibit booth at the conference displaying both existing and new products including its organic herbs and SUPERLEAF™ product. Following the event, Edible Garden will be introducing its Cut SUPERLEAF™ Spring Mix and Living SUPERLEAF™ Spring Mix to current Northeast supermarket consumers.

The management comments

Derek Peterson, the CEO and Chairman of Terra Tech, said that the NY Produce Show and Conference provides Edible Garden a major opportunity to show and market the nutritional and beneficial properties of organic SUPERLEAF™ lettuce to large prospective audience. The non-GMO approved SUPERLEAF™ lettuce remains to be a popular product for clients looking for improved nutritional advantages as one serving of this lettuce comprises more than twice the quantity of antioxidants as blueberries.

The SUPERLEAF™ launch to existing clients in the Northeast will expand their footprint as they intend to extend market share for Edible Garden and achieve shareholder value. Terra Tech has its businesses spread through multiple subsidiaries including Blüm, Edible Gardens, MediFarm LLC, GrowOp Technology and IVXX Inc. Blüm’s retail medicinal cannabis facilities emphasis on offering the premium medical cannabis to patients who are seeking alternative cure for their chronic medical problems.

In the last trading session, the stock price of Terra Tech jumped 0.66% to close at $0.307. The gains came at a share volume of 3.33 million compared to average share volume of 12.24 million.
