Recent speculations have it that Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) is already testing the limited edition Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang at the Dearborn Development Grounds in Michigan, as suggested by leaked images on the internet.

Accordingly, the V8 engine of the upcoming Ford model can produce over 700 bhp of power. Some speculations even suggest a twin-turbocharged V8 engine delivering up to a staggering 800 bhp. The images also show that the vehicle boasts with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, Brembo brake calipers, and drilled and vented disks— similar to the Ford GT350R.
2017 Ford F-Series Super Duty
Ford Motor has finally given its F-Series Super Duty a long-overdue revamp after more than a decade with the all-new and improved 2017 Ford F-Series Super Duty. The upcoming lineup comes with completely overhauled design and features such as taller frame rails, and optimized brake, driveline, and suspension components. The Ford F-450 and Ford F-550 are also integrated with bigger ring gear diameters and brake rotors. Engine choices include a 6.2-liter gasoline V8 engine, which boasts with 385 hp of output and 430 lb.-ft. of torque, and a 6.7-liter turbo diesel V8 engine, which boasts with 440 hp of output and 935 lb.-ft. of torque.
Chinese Market Sales Report
Ford Motor, and joint ventures Changan Ford Automobile (CAF) and Jiangling Motor Corp. (JMC) all reported notable growth in sales. Last month, a total of 88,189 vehicles have been sold in Asia’s largest economy, posting a remarkable 15% surge year-over-year.
CAF has sold 69,074 units during the said period, posting a 20% year-over-year rise. Year-to-date, the joint venture has already sold more than half a million vehicles, which is up by 11% from the same period in 2015. The surge in sales is largely driven by the 82% year-over-year increase in Ford Escort sales and the 13% year-over-year increase in Ford Focus sales.
On the other hand, JMC has sold a total of 17,748 units last month, reporting a 6% increase year-over-year. However, year-to-date, sales are down by 5% year-over-year to 139,262 units.
