Liquidmetal® Technologies, Inc. (OTCQB:LQMT) is back in limelight after EliteStockAlerts.com reminded its followers that Professor Yeung Tak Lugee Li could purchase the remaining 300,000,000 LQMT shares for $55 million  any time soon. Originally, LQMT expected this transaction to be completed by August 17, 2016. Professor Li has already purchased 105,000,000 shares for $8.4 million. However, there is a twist in the story.

According to a recent press release,  the company announced that it has agreed to extend  the deadline by December 31, 2016. This implies that Liquidmetal Technology Limited, a company owned and controlled by Professor Lugee Li has until August December 31th, 2016 to buy the remaining 300,000,000 shares under the Securities Purchase Agreement. It’s important to note that “Other than the extension of the closing date, the amendment did not materially modify the terms of the original Securities Purchase Agreement”. What could have caused the delay ? Its plausible that transferring funds from China to the US can present timing issues. There seems no doubt that this extension could clearly boost interest from shareholders. EliteStockAlerts is the same group that pushed or rather jumped on Marilynjean Interactive Inc (OTCMKTS:MJMI) bandwagon to see it surge over 300 percent in a matter of few days.

It seems and we agree that Liquidmetal® Technologies, Inc. (OTCQB: LQMT) believes that the infusion of capital from Professor Li will allow Liquidmetal to grow at a much faster rate moving forward allowing LQMT to address a broader range of customers and to expand operations in North America and Europe. Liquidmetal Technologies, Inc. is the leading developer of amorphous alloys that utilize the performance advantages offered by amorphous alloy technology. Amorphous alloys are unique materials that are distinguished by their ability to retain a random structure when they solidify.

LQMT

LQMT opened at $0.14 and hit a high of $0.1598 for an easy 12 percent gains. Its quite possible that as soon as Professor Lugee Li finishes buying the reaming shares, LQMT pps could very well surge past $0.25 which is an easy 50 percent for any traders looking to make a short term boost to their portfolio.
