One of the largest apparel home furnishing retailer companies based in the United States, JC Penney Company Inc (NYSE:JCP) announced that the location of they’re first ever GIC (Global In-House Center) will be located in India, Bangalore to be specifical.
The opening date of the global in-house center is scheduled to be on the 22nd of August. This will be an extension of the home office in Plano, Texas, U.S.A.
The responsibilities of the global in-house center will be the enhancement of various critical business functions. These functions extend to and include IT and digital genres.

This new GIC is located at the Embassy Manyata Business Park in Bangalore and is a complete 150, 000 square foot office space.
