Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) reported the launch of ‘Lenovo™ Y27f’ Curved Gaming Monitor. This new product boats has AMD FreeSync™ technology, providing low input latency and a delightful, stutter free multimedia and gaming experience. This new product with a vertically aligned display, offers remarkable gaming immersion and an outstanding viewing experience.

The highlights

Advanced Micro’s freeSync technology helps get fluid and smooth gameplay. This technology improves communication between AMD FreeSync-capable GPU and the new gaming monitor. As a result, it enables the display to dynamically adjust its refresh rate in arrangement with the GPU’s development of new frames. This stops tearing by confirming no new frames are established in the refresh period.

Advanced Micro’s technology removes stuttering, as the refresh rate is locked to the development of new frames. It is supported on many AMD Radeon™ GPUs, including Polaris architecture-related ‘Radeon™ RX’ graphics cards.

The expert speaks

Li Jun Su from Lenovo’s team said that their latest product, the ‘Y27f’ Curved Gaming Monitor, is best optimized for gaming. It comes as a complete bliss for game lovers. Advanced Micro’s unique FreeSync technology along with a 144 Hz refresh rate removes screen tearing. In addition, it also reduces display stutter, motion blur and input lag to showcase more natural movement.

Along with the most extreme curved display and full high definition resolution, the monitor offers consumers with the smoothest and best possible gaming experience. Raja Koduri of Radeon Technologies Group said that with AMD FreeSync know-how, the unique Lenovo Y27f offers truly immersive gaming.

The monitor makes an excellent option for casual as well as competitive gamers who look for high framerates and low latency. They can get an ultra-smooth experience in the new display powered by Advanced Micro FreeSync technology. The company reported that the new Y27f Curved Gaming Monitor is priced starting at SEP $399 USD.
