LCLP is known as an innovative brand of products, which are revolutionizing the way people capture, enjoy, manage and charge image capturing devices. The company’s success can be partially assessed through its recent announcement, about its Mobeego brand of one time, wireless batteries. The company announced that it would make the batteries available to the Australian public. Furthermore, Shimi Spigler would serve as the official distributor for the product in the region. The batteries are recyclable and disposable and can be plugged directly into mobile devices or action cameras.
For its initial launch, Shimi Spigler has identified three retail locations where it would make the products available, initially. The list includes Anaconda, Aussie Disposals and Ezy Mart. The management at Shimi Spigler has claimed that it had been difficult to introduce Mobeego to the market, as there was no other product like it. Fortunately, the product has grown to be a big hit and is selling quickly, in the state of Victoria. The distributor is now planning to expand its marketing efforts, to other states as well.
Another company, which has been making waves in the market for innovative cameras, is GoPro Inc (NASDAQ:GPRO). The most recent news from the company had indicated that it would be one of the major partners for “Drone Nationals”, the 2016 US national drone racing championship. The event is scheduled to be held between August 5 and 7, in New York. GoPro is not only going to be presenting the event, but will also have honor of awarding the title of the “Fastest Drone Pilot in the US”.
This is second push by the company, towards racing sports, in the same month. Earlier on July 15, GoPro had announced that it would be adding Valentino Rossi to its team. Mr. Rossi is a renowned MotoGP racer and a nine time World Champion. He has a total of 114 wins to his name, while he won his first championship in 1997. Through its partnership with Mr. Rossi, GoPro aims to attract a very specific audience to view the life of the racing legend, outside of the race track. Furthermore, Mr. Rossi would also adorn the GoPro logo, in his future races. As far as the financial health of the company is concerned, investors can get a clear idea once the company announces the 2Q2016 financial results, on July 27, 2016.
