US Highland, Inc. (OTCMKTS:UHLN) and M&M Sourcing Sdn Bhd, have revealed that their joint venture, Lahva Inc, has launched the YoungAnds brand of clothing, which will be manufactured in-house. The two companies have also revealed that this is just the first of many brands to come. At the moment, Lahva aims to target the market of young adults. This is the first time that Lahva is going to sell its own products to retailers and consumers, instead of the conventional sourcing and services business.
The company has set a target of 45-days, for the manufacture and delivery of the first batch of select YoundAnds goods. Lahva had initially announced that it would formally be launching the brand this summer. However, now the company seems to have developed promotional plans to begin before the official launch. The president of Lahva, Azm Manzur, labeled this an important milestone for the company as it focuses on using its network of sourcing and manufacturers for its own brands. He also clarified that the launch date was chosen, due to it being near to the school opening season.
The president also revealed that the brands were being developed to target specific markets. Added to this the company would also be able to address the rapidly changing fashion trends, to maintain an edge over its competitors. Lahva is going to begin its journey by catering to the needs of a large part of the casual clothing sector. Although the company would be launching its own brands very soon, it will continue to serve as an end to end turnkey supply chain services. Mr. Manzur also commented that he feels that the brands have great potential. He also praised the efforts of his international collaborators and termed them as vital to the brands popularity.
US Highland, Inc. (OTCMKTS:UHLN) los 43.92% of its share value, after having a trade volume of 6.2 million shares during the April 14 session, to reach a close at $0.0701.
