Terra Tech Corporation (OTCQX:TRTC) revealed recently that the Las Vegas City Council has finally granted it the last approval that shall enable it to launch its first medical cannabis dispensary in Nevada. Situated at 1921 Western Avenue, Las Vegas, the new 3,900-square-foot dispensary unit is set for a grand opening on April 20.
Derek Peterson, Terra Tech CEO, expressed that the company is “delighted” abut being granted all the necessary licenses to operate for the first time in Nevada its medical cannabis dispensary.
Meanwhile, operations inspection by the state is being completed, which shall give Terra Tech the final State Registration Certificate.

According to Peterson, the company expects better growth prospects and opportunities with the new venture. Terra Tech’s presence in Nevada strengthens its position in the emerging medical marijuana industry.

In a recent interview with SmallCapVoice.com, Inc. (SCV), Peterson boasted that the company is up for major changes that will direct its growth. Terra Tech’s innovative initiatives, which include the introduction of its new line of pre-filled marijuana oil cartridges that contain different cannabinoids percentages and the closing of its California-based retail medical marijuana dispensary, are believed to strengthen its core operations and to seize various opportunities in the growing market.
Terra Tech is set to release various pre-filled cannabis oil cartridges in the next four months. One of its distributors has already placed an order of 10,000 pre-filled marijuana oil cartridge units, amounting to a total of $170,000.
The cartridges offer a wide array of cannabis strains of different potency levels. These units are Terra Tech’s latest addition to its IVXX propriety brand portfolio.
Peterson believes that there is a huge demand for these pre-filled marijuana oil cartridges since patients highly appreciate convenient items for their medications.
