Corus Entertainment Inc. (USA)(OTCMKTS:CJREF) was a massive decliner during Friday’s trading session. The stock plunged by close to 6% on the back of 8 times the average daily volumes. The stock hit a fresh 52 week low on Friday, which is considered to be a bearish sign. The stock has been trending lower forming lower tops and lower bottoms. The relative strength index continues to trend in the bearish zone but shows no signs of a reversal indicative of the strong selling momentum. Traders believe the stock could head to levels of $7.25 in the near term.

Corus Entertainment Inc. (USA)(OTCMKTS:CJREF) has announced that it will bring Disney XD and Disney Junior to reality across Canada starting from December 1, 2015. As per the reports, Disney Junior broadcasts content for kids in the age group 2-7, but people from different walks of life like the ideation and stories showcased.

Going forward, kids will be able to enjoy some of the most sought after characters and shows like Doc McStuffins, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Jake and The Never Land Pirates, Sofia the First and Miles from Tomorrowland.

According to Colin Bohm, EVP & Head of Corus Kids, with the launch of Disney Junior and Disney XD, Corus has tried to bring back kids content back to television. To make this launch memorable and exciting, Corus Entertainment has decided to make available the premier of the famous animated movie “The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar.” Viewers can enjoy this world-famous premier during the launch week of the Disney channels. Reports claim that a new character named Kion, second-born cub of Nala and Simba will be introduced in the new Lion Guard movie. The TV series will debut on Disney Junior early next year.

Apart from The Lion Guard, Disney Junior will also showcase Goldie & Bear. Kids enjoyed the previous series “Goldilocks and The Three Bears” and producers hope that they will enjoy this new series as well.

Corus Entertainment has given hints that it will continue to take such innovative decisions that can bring more kids back to TV and offer them a chance to enhance creativity and learning together.
