It will help the company to streamline its business operations and improve its profitability. As a leader firm of the O2O local lifestyle operations in China, Wowo runs an e-commerce system.
In order to allocate its resources to invest in its foodservice internet platform, the company wants to divest the group buying business. After assessing the many advantages of this transaction for the company and its shareholders, Wowo’s board approved the Divestment. For the purpose, the company finalized a definitive deal with a third party pertaining to the divestment of all of the equity interests in subsidiary firm Wowo Group Limited.
