Hemp Inc (OTCMKTS:HEMP) reported that its decortication line has been featured in this month issue of Freedom Leaf magazine. It is a matter of honor for the company as Freedom Leaf magazine is the multi-media industry magazine directed towards the legalization of marijuana. The article empowers a network of supporters across the globe while covering the latest entertainment, lifestyle, fashion, art news in the industry.

The highlight

There are as many as 300,000 magazines in circulation in thirty-two states by 160 activists and conventional distribution networks. Freedom Leaf magazine June issue not only highlights “good news” in marijuana reform segment, but also pays honor to George Shlichten’s ‘1917 hemp decorticator.’ After almost 100 years, Hemp anticipates its Hemp Decorticator to transform the manufacturing of raw hemp in the U.S. and help Americans shift from non-sustainable synthetic offerings to more hemp-based green and clean solutions.

The measures

Hemp bought the only large-scale commercial hemp decorticator in the U.S. It was built to process kenaf but after a short time the tobacco company walked off and left the massive machinery. Bruce Perlowin, the CEO said that there are just five decorticators of this size in the world and Hemp has one of them. The decorticator is close to make its strong return in the U.S. hemp landscape. To document the reassembling of its decorticator, the company has installed video cameras in its facility in North Carolina.

The message

Perlowin reached an internet radio audience last week when he appeared as one of the guest speakers on show, “Up Close with Chris Tinney” aired on June 9, 2015. In the interview, the CEO highlighted how Hemp Inc (OTCMKTS:HEMP) intends to use its decortication line to heal the planet using hemp products.

In last trading session, the stock price of Hemp declined more than 2% to close the trading session at $0.0152. The decline came at a share volume of 6.06 million compared to average share volume of 8.82 million.
