Thinspace Technology Inc (OTCMKTS:THNS) confirmed the rebrand of its innovative OneGate VPN offering to skyGate SSL VPN. It also released skySpace, which is a complete and new end-to-end desktop virtualization platform.

The details

Thinspace skyGate provides simple and secure remote access to desktops and applications, and offers SSL VPN at a relatively lower price point than other products. It provides a single sign-on and simple experience to connect users to respective desktops. It also offers access to systems from anywhere, allowing login from the Internet from any system including managed company’s skyPoint devices. The other highlights are clientless login with skyView HTML5 and granular policy based access.

The rebranding purpose

Chris Bautista, the Chief Executive of Thinspace said that the company is rebranding the previous version of OneGate VPN solution, to be in line with the launch of skySpace, the company’s unified desktop virtualization platform, including end-points, secure VPN access connectivity, management software and connection broker. It is an affordable as well as best virtualization platform available in the market for organizations and companies looking to operate in the most effective and efficient manner.

The industry and scope

Thinspace actively operates in B2B markets of cloud computing and desktop virtualization solutions, which make it affordable flexible and easier for IT managers and companies to perform and organize computing tasks securely from any server based anywhere in the world. The company recorded annual revenue of $6.26 million in FY2014 compared to $1.50 million in FY2013, which indicates a YOY improvement of 315%. The research firm Gartner estimates the global desktop virtualization industry to exceed $65 billion in 2015.

In last trading session, the stock price of Thinspace jumped 10% to close the trading session at $0.0451. The gains came at a share volume of 1.15 million compared to average share volume of 743,215.
