The new request
Terra Tech Corp (OTCMKTS:TRTC)’s Edible Garden had started servicing Walmart last June when it was given an opportunity to trial run its products through the retailer’s centers located in the Northeast. The center consisted of nearly 75 stores then. Following the Edible Garden’s consistent performance in terms of high quality and fresh produce won it another opportunity from Walmart to service additional markets. As per the request, Terra Tech Corp (OTCMKTS:TRTC)’s Edible Garden will expand its product range to 4 additional distribution centers across Midwest and the Northeast.

The company’s CEO Derek Peterson did not miss the chance to call the opportunity as its major accomplishment for the brand. Also, he added that the new service orders represent a vote of confidence in the company’s abilities. Peterson appreciated the Walmart’s action of supporting local farmers and helping in the creation of jobs through helping the company expand to additional distribution centers.
Meanwhile, Terra Tech Corp (OTCMKTS:TRTC) informed its stakeholders that the very first orders to the new centers is expected to ship by the end of May. At the same time, the company said that it has achieved organic certification, which paves its way to develop more products and market them through both new and existing channels.
