DRONE AVIATION HOLDI (OTCMKTS:DRNE) has been taking all the measures to benefit the most out of the existing market conditions. Recently, the company said that its wholly-owned subsidiary known as Drone Aviation Corp. will exhibit at SOFIC. It will present at the upcoming ‘Special Operations Forces Industry Conference’, to be held from May 19, 2015 to May 21, 2015 at the Tampa Convention Center.
The conference
SOFIC is one of the most famous events of the defense industry. The main objective of the conference is to create a global SOF alliance and improve the defense industry technology applications. As per the reports, the conference will be attended by over 9000 industry experts and government officials. At the three-day conference, Drone Aviation will showcase its electric tethered drone known as WATT and WASP tactical aerostat system.
The products
WATT and WASP models of Drone Aviation will provide semi-persistent, surveillance, reconnaissance and mobile intelligence for multiple applications. The participation in SOFIC is a key achievement for the company as there were several other companies that wanted to become a part of the conference. Due to interest from many companies, the committee conducted a competitive application process to shortlist the deserving candidates. Drone Aviation belonged to the list of 30 applicants that passed the process.

Drone Aviation’s CEO Felicia Hess said that all the developmental activities in present world needs cost effective surveillance, effective communications and mobile intelligence without placing soldiers’ lives in danger. The objective can be achieved by the latest form of drone technology. If the national authorities pay focus on it, then things can become easy for soldiers who spend a major part of their life out in the fields.
In the last trading session, DRNE stock surged 3.47% to close at $0.373 at volume of 167,078.
